BALTIMORE, Dec. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI) announced that Kai Jackson has joined the corporate news division as Special Correspondent. Mr. Jackson will join Sinclair on January 2, 2014. The announcement was made by Scott Livingston, Vice President of News for Sinclair Television Group.

Mr. Jackson has been a successful anchor/reporter at WJZ-TV (CBS) in Baltimore, Maryland for more than 20 years. He began his career at the station in 1993 as a general assignment reporter and was quickly promoted to co-anchor. Mr. Jackson has a Bachelor of Arts degree from South Carolina State College.
