LOS ANGELES, May 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Golden Globe winner and Emmy Award nominee Susan Blakely has joined the cast of the independent feature, "Displacement", a quantum time thriller which also stars Sarah Douglas ("Superman I & II"), Christopher Backus ("Deliverance Creek", "Elevator") and rising star Courtney Hope ("Swelter", "Prowl", "Mob Rules"). The picture is helmed by award-winning writer-director Kenneth Mader ("Passing Darkness", "Carnivore"), currently shooting and posting in L.A. through his Maderfilm Productions banner.
The ever-radiant film and television star, Blakely will play the mother of Courtney Hope's character in the film which tells the story of a young physics student who must find a way to reverse a deadly quantum time anomaly and solve the murder of her boyfriend.
