LONDON, May 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The net worth of "Kimye" – the moniker used in American popular culture to refer to power couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West – is US$155 million, according to a Wealth-X estimate that shows the bulk of their combined fortune belongs to West.
The couple married in an extravagant, multi-million-dollar ceremony on 24 May in a 16th century castle overlooking the Italian city of Florence among 200 close friends and family members.
West has a net worth of at least US$110 million, Wealth-X analysis shows, most of which he earned from album sale revenues, income from tours, royalties on his shoes lines with Nike and Louis Vuitton, and fees for public appearances.
He also has two homes worth a combined US$11 million in California and a car collection worth an estimated US$800,000. His stake in his production company, GOOD Music, in partnership with Def Jam, is worth as much as US$13 million.
Kardashian's personal fortune is worth around US$45 million, mostly from her reality TV show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" as well as the US$800,000 stake she holds in her own branded perfume range, and the US$1.5 million stake in fashion boutique DASH, which she runs with her sisters Khloe and Kourtney.
She also has a car collection worth about US$1 million. Kardashian reportedly earned US$18 million from publicity rights and photos to her first wedding to basketballer Kris Humphries in 2011.
